Bali  Highlight ALAS KEDATON
Located in Kukuh Village, about six-hectare forest is populated with giant nutmeg trees of up to 40m in height. Hordes of Balinese monkeys that inhabit both the trees and the temple, Pura Bukit Sari, located in the heart of the forest. Some of them even dare to get close to you. The monkeys have become well acquainted with human company, but beware - sometimes in their attempts to get food, they will snatch some object in order to trade for food. The number of monkeys live until today is believed more then a hundred which are become so tame due to the tourists always giving them souvenir for feeding such as peanuts, banana, and any kind of fruits. On the high tree also dozens of fruit bats which is called flying foxen can also be seen during the day.

BANJAR HOTSPRING
This natural hot spring is located in the north of Bali. The pools are distinctive with eight carved stone dragons pouring water into the first pool (the hottest pool), five more for the second pool (cooler then the first pool) and one final 3 meter-high dragon serving the third pool. Traditional belief holds that this hot spring can cure illness. Use the changing rooms and locker under the restaurant. There is an adjacent outdoor shower provided.

BEDUGUL
Bedugul is a resort area, located in the Tabanan Regency about 50 km north of Denpasar on a main route from South Bali to North Bali. Bedugul is one of Bali’s favourite spot for spending weekend or holiday. The Ulun Danu Temple at Lake Bratan (also spelled Beratan) is a special place in Bali, certainly one of the most famous and photographed temples on the island. If the water level in the lake is high from recent rains, the Temple appears to be floating! A close look at even this one temple will be worth the drive to Bedugul.

BESAKIH - THE MOTHER TEMPLE
The biggest Hindu temple, namely the Mother temple. It owns beautiful view from the top of temple area where we can see the wide nature panorama down to the ocean. Besakih Temple is located in the plateau area which is covered by the cool atmosphere and Mount Agung as a back drop. CANDI DASA
Candidasa is belong to Karangasem regency. And many many Hotel and Restaurant with the lower price of course. The atmosphere is quite natural and not so much crowded like in Kuta or Nusa Dua. Candidasa have a quiet and natural white sand, maybe better than Kuta or Nusa Dua now days. Because there not so many population around there.

ELEPHANT CAVE (GOA GAJAH)
Elephnt cave or commonly called Goa Gajah is situated on a steep bank to the side of the main road in the Banjar of Goa, Bedaulu Village in the area of Blahbatuh, Gianyar. The cave itself is a very important archaeological site, as it holds the remains of an ancient Buddhist monument. These remains are thought to be of the same era as the grand Borobudur temple in central Java. Also the site holds relics of the God Shiva. The origins of the name Goa Gajah are uncertain. Some claim that the name comes from the world 'Lwa Gajah' recorded in ancient Javanese writings saying the cave was the home of an important Buddhist priest. Another opinion suggests that the name originates from the statue of Gannesha which is located in the western corner of the cave, part of the statue being an elephant's trunk. The history of Goa Gajah can be seen from the ancient remains at the site. Besides Shivaist relics found inside the cave, there are several Buddhist remains such as the statues of Buddha and Harito. These remains appear to be of the same style as the statues found in Borobudur temple, which originates in the eighth century.

GARUDA WISNU KENCANA - THE CULTURAL PARK
Designed and built by Nyoman Nuarta, one of Indonesia’s foremost modern sculptor, the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue or GWK and its pedestal building will be standing 150 meters tall with its wings span 64 meters across. The Garuda Wisnu Kencana complex, situated on a limestone hill in Jimbaran, is an integrated cultural centre with a 140 meter-high statue as its landmark. The park have an entertainment hall, an exhibition centre, villas, a residential complex, theaters and a trade center as well as a spacious parking lot to accommodate visitors. When it is fully realized the Garuda Wisnu statue will be the tallest statue in Southeast Asia. As of today the artist has only completed Wisnu's torso and Garuda's head.

GITGIT WATERFALL
The best-known is properly known as "Air Terjun Gitgit" but more commonly called simply "Gitgit". Further upstream there is another one called "Gitgit Multi-Tier" and yet still another upstream from that named "Gitgit Double". All three are on the same watercourse and follow, in the order listed above, south from Singaraja. The largest is the first, Gitgit. This is a very scenic waterfall that cascades 40 meters into a pool at the base of a rock face. The pool is large enough for swimming, but the water is usually pretty cold ! This waterfall is, as the name implies, actually a series of cascades. Few people, gorgeous views, and lots of pools absolutely perfect for swimming or a good soak.

GUA GAJAH - THE ELEPHANT CAVE
The word of Gua Gajah is anticipated coming from the word of Lwa Gajah, the name of Buddhist Temple or hermitage for Buddhist monk. The Gua Gajah's name is written on Negarakeertagama papyrus which is compiled by Mpu Prapanca on 1365 M. The area of north-eastern Bali at the Mount Batur caldera, and which encompasses Penelokan, Toya Bungkah, Batur and Kintamani villages. Batur caldera IS about 1,500m above sea level, and offer dramatic views of the active volcano Mount Batur and serene Lake Batur. Toyo Bungkah village is down at the lake edge. The most favorite tourist destinations in Bali with the active volcano of mount Batur and beautiful lake. Kintamani is surrounded by the captivating nature and there are six ancient villages around cauldron of Batur Lake which is often conceived by Bali Age Village. The five km long sandy stretch of Kuta is arguably the best beach front in Bali. The long wide stretch of sand is often full of sunbathers and although most of the serious surfers have moved on to newer pastures, there are still plenty of surf dudes around at most times of the year, and especially so during peak season. The beach stretches as far north as the eyes can see. The village abounds with restaurants, shops, discotheques and other tourist facilities. It is easier to find regular performances of Balinese music and dance in Kuta, staged specially for tourists, than anywhere else in Bali. Some performances are staged nightly. Kuta Art Market has a multitude of shops selling a wide variety of goods including, sarongs, handicrafts, jewelry, clothing, furniture and leather goods. You can find some good pieces if you look carefully and smart bargain. Kuta is very short drive away from the airport, and transportation is readily available to take you from and to Kuta to and from anywhere else in Bali.

LOVINA BEACH
Lovina beach is a coastal area on the northwestern side of the island of Bali. The coastal strip stretches from 5 Km Northern part of Bali island. The Lovina area contains the small villages (from east to west) of Pemaron, Tukad Mungga, Anturan, Banyualit, Kalibukbuk, Kaliasem and Temukus. It is becoming more popular with tourists but remains far quieter than the tourist hotspots of the island's south side. Away from mass tourism, Lovina is a safe haven of tranquility especially popular among culture and nature lovers. Lovina's traditional, rural surroundings of fishing, farming, forests and plantations guarantee for relaxing holidays.

MAS VILLAGE

NUSA DUA

SANUR

One main route called Jalan Danau Tamblingan runs north to south through the town and it is easy to orient yourself with reference to this road. One can access this traditional, unique and isolated Bali Aga or original Balinese village only by boat. From the village of Kedisan, beside Lake Batur at Kintamani, hire a boat for the half-hour journey. Refer to the notice board for daily rates. Untouched by modern influences, Trunyan is particularly known for its cemetery, about 500 meters outside the village and the method of dispatching the dead. Not believing in cremation the tradition is of weathering burial. A white cloth covers the body and lengthy rituals proceed. A bamboo cage surrounds the body, which is then left to the elements. There are also a couple of traditional Bali Aga-style dwellings, and a large banyan tree, which is said to be more than 1,100 years old. At Kuban sub-village close to Trunyan is a mysterious cemetery that is separated by the lake and accessible only by boat - there is no path along the steep walls of the crater rim.

UBUD - THE ART VILLAGE

Sanur is Bali's oldest upscale resort area and is a mature beach-side town. Despite the abundance of restaurants and accommodation, it has a quiet and relaxed feel to it. The Sanur area is sandwiched between the main Jalan Ngurah Rai bypass and the beach. One main route called Jalan Danau Tamblingan runs north to south through the town and it is easy to orient yourself with reference to this road. Sanur is one of the main beach resort areas on the south coast of Bali, located NE of the airport in Tuban. Sanur's history goes back a long way, with some of the oldest recorded writing on the island still preserved at the small temple at Prasasti Blanjong on Jl. Danau Poso . The ancient text, dating back to the 10th Century.

One can access this traditional, unique and isolated Bali Aga or original Balinese village only by boat. From the village of Kedisan, beside Lake Batur at Kintamani, hire a boat for the half-hour journey. Refer to the notice board for daily rates. Untouched by modern influences, Trunyan is particularly known for its cemetery, about 500 meters outside the village and the method of dispatching the dead. Not believing in cremation the tradition is of weathering burial. A white cloth covers the body and lengthy rituals proceed. A bamboo cage surrounds the body, which is then left to the elements. There are also a couple of traditional Bali Aga-style dwellings, and a large banyan tree, which is said to be more than 1,100 years old. At Kuban sub-village close to Trunyan is a mysterious cemetery that is separated by the lake and accessible only by boat - there is no path along the steep walls of the crater rim.

UBUD - THE ART VILLAGE

WEST NATIONAL PARK
It is reachable from Gilimanuk as the main entrance to West Bali, and from Denpasar. This 77,000-hectare park was established in 1941. It covers 50,000 hectares on the western tip of the island. It also includes another 7,000 hectares of coral reef and coastal water. Over 200 species of plants are found in Bali Barat National Park. These range from the indigenous banteng cattle through to spiders as large as your hand. The spiders aren't poisonous, but the scorpions are, and will make a victim quite sick for about 24 hours. Black monkeys, squirrels, wild pigs, buffalo, macaques, leaf monkeys, green snakes, barking deer, sambar, Java deer, squirrels, iguanas, pythons; these are all located in Bali Barat National Park. There are several unspoiled coral reefs off Menjangan Island, which is just north of the park's mainland. Local dive shops organize scuba and snorkeling trips. You can arrange guided treks at the park office in Cekik, 6 km (4 mi) west of the park entrance at Labuan Lalang." name="introtext" />
